“Sobriety is a Fruit of Holiness” – Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC Sober For Christ News
Sober for Christ is a Catholic lay apostolate that reaches out to Catholic Christians who are afflicted with addictions (alcohol, narcotic or prescription drugs, gambling, pornography, and compulsive disorders) or who suffer from habitual sin. We provide Catholic resources (Catholic counseling and treatment) to help them live life SOBERLY through prayer, proper formation, obedience to the Commandments, and receiving the Sacraments (Eucharist & Confession). This way of life will give them the graces necessary to practice a life of virtue, have a deeper devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, and to be a faithful son or daughter to our Holy Father. JMJ
“Modern times are dominated by Satan and will be more so in the future. The conflict with hell cannot be engaged by men, even the most clever. The Immaculata alone has from God the promise of victory over Satan.” – Saint Maximilian Kolbe
